What the guarantee covers
Ansa has no free trial: you pay for your first month at checkout. In return, you have 14 calendar days from checkout to get that first payment back, for any reason. It doesn't matter whether Sarah is live yet or which plan you're on.
While the window is open, Billing shows a Refund windowrow that reads "Open until" and the exact date it closes. Once that row is gone, the window has closed.
The refund is the full payment you made at checkout for your first month, including any sales tax charged on it. Under the refund terms, carrier and telecom fees and texting registration fees billed separately from that payment aren't covered, because those are passed on to third parties. Later monthly renewals aren't covered either.
How to claim it
Open Billingand look below your plan details. While the window is open you'll see Cancel and refund there, whether or not Sarah is live yet.
Click Cancel and refund. A box asks Cancel and refund now? Click Cancel and refund to confirm, or Keep my planto back out. There's no form and no call.
If Sarah is already live, you'll also see Cancel subscriptionbelow it. Don't use that one to get your money back: it cancels at the end of your billing period and doesn't refund anything.
What happens when you claim
A refund cancels your subscription right away, not at the end of the month, and your account closes. At that point:
1. Sarah stops answering calls.
2. Your Ansa number is released back to the carrier. It can't be recovered, and Ansa can't transfer it to another carrier.
3. Ansa builds a download bundle of your data. The link works for 7 days, you can make a new one from Billing, and the data is kept for about 30 days. See Getting a copy of your data.
Your own business line keeps working, because Ansa only ever received the calls you forwarded to it. Bookings Sarah already made stay in your calendar or CRM.
Undo your call forwarding the same day, or your forwarded calls will keep going to a number that no longer answers. On AT&T, T-Mobile or US Cellular, dial ##21# if you forwarded every call, or ##004# if you forwarded only the calls you miss. On Verizon or a landline, dial *73. If you set forwarding in your phone's settings, a VoIP dashboard or your landline provider's account instead, switch it off there. The full list is in Forwarding codes, explained.
When the money arrives
The refund is sent to Stripe as soon as the cancel goes through, and it goes back to the card or bank account you paid with. Stripe usually posts it in 1 to 5 business days for a card and 5 to 10 business days for a bank debit. The exact day depends on your bank, not on Ansa.
Other guarantees
The Terms of Service also include performance guarantees, such as the Booked-Jobs guarantee. Those aren't automatic. To claim one, email hello@tryansa.ai and name the period you're claiming for. A person reviews your calls and bookings for that period and replies with the numbers they relied on.
Claims are due within 30 days of the end of the period, because call transcripts are cleared after 30 days. Guarantees don't stack with the 14-day refund for the same period.
Troubleshooting
I don't see a Refund window row on Billing.
The row only shows while the window is open, so your 14 days have most likely passed. If you think that's wrong, email hello@tryansa.ai with your checkout date.
I see Cancel subscription but no Cancel and refund.
Cancel and refund only shows while the Refund window row is there. If both are gone, your 14 days have passed and Cancel subscription is the way to cancel, with no refund.
Cancel and refund showed an error.
Try again in a minute. If it fails again, email us before your window closes and we'll sort out the refund with you.
It's been a week and the refund isn't on my statement.
Bank debits can take up to 10 business days. After that, email us and we'll check the refund's status with Stripe.
